Business partner - Concept Laser
The DENTAURUM Group, which leads the way in the field of precious-metal-free dental alloys, is our partner and produces exclusive powder materials for processing using the LaserCUSING® method which are available exclusively to Concept Laser customers. Two patented and clinically proven precious-metal-free alloys which were previously available as an alloy in the form of cast cylinders and as a milling blank are now exclusively also available to procure as a laser fusable powder material through Concept Laser:
remanium® star CL
The products which are produced using the LaserCUSING® method meet the requirements of the German Medical Devices Act (DIN EN ISO 9693 / DIN EN ISO 22674).
Concept Laser GmbH, developer and distributor of machine solutions for 3D metal printing, and the company MBFZ toolcraft GmbH, a manufacturer of high-end precision parts and components, have worked together / cooperated closely for many years. MBFZ toolcraft GmbH has several machines from Concept Laser GmbH and a great wealth of experience in the field of additive manufacturing and milling.
The cooperation between the two companies essentially covers the following areas:
- Part manufacturing / contract work
- Exchange of experience in the combined processing of parts
- Material and parameter development
- Testing of new machine solutions
The aim is to work together to optimize and further the development of the additive manufacturing of metal parts. In this context, the close working relationship between the manufacturer and end user has proved to be extremely expedient.
Robert Hofmann GmbH has many years of extensive know-how in the area of prototyping and is synonymous with full-service engineering. As a renowned service provider, the company offers its customers a wide range of state-of-the-art manufacturing processes for plastics and metals. With a total of 12 LaserCUSING® machines from Concept Laser, Robert Hofmann GmbH is one of our most important customers and cooperation partners. The cooperation between the two companies essentially covers the following areas:
- Component manufacture/contract work
- Testing the machine technology in a production environment
- Development projects
The joint aim of the cooperation is to continuously improve the LaserCUSING® process, and thus further increase the level of acceptance of 3D metal printing as a manufacturing technology of the future.
The Beam Melting Network was established on 1 July 2010 as an association of seven companies and three research institutes. The network brings together in a unique way know-how relating to beam melting technology and in doing so covers the entire process chain from powder production, machine development and fabrication, technology development and process optimisation right through to the application of the method in several key sectors of industry (mould-making, medical technology, prototype construction, etc.).
The aim of the network is, in an association encompassing small and medium-sized enterprises, large companies and research institutes, to further advance the beam melting technology including peripheral processes and to develop new fields of applicationfor beam-fused components. In this context, the handling of R&D projects is the main focus of the work of the network.
